Sharon Lynn Myers, 76, passed December 11, 2020 at her home in Pueblo West, CO after a short battle with cancer. Her family was by her side showing her great love, just as she had exemplified to them for so many years. Survived by husband Mack Myers of 57 years, sons Rob and Dan Myers, past daughters-in-law Shannon and Yvonne; grandsons Mitchell (Javi), Travis Myers, and granddaughters Madison, Grace, and Emmy Myers; great-grandchildren Gabby and Grayson Myers. She was lovingly called "G-Ma" or "GG-Ma" by them. Also survived by sister Dianne (Dee) and brother-in-law Les Shaver; sister-in-law Manetta Seem, and brother-in-law Everett Myers; nephews Matt and Seth (Stephanie) and grandnieces Abby and Sophia Shaver, niece Lisa Kott and nephew Dan Lappic. They all knew her as "Auntie Sharon". Preceded in death by her parents Bob and Maxine Travis of La Junta, CO, parents-in-law Dan and Gene Myers of Las Animas, CO and numerous others special to her as family and friends. Sharon and husband Mack lived and raised their family in various places from Frisco, CO to Fort Collins, to Stillwater, OK, onto New Jersey and Chicago. They then came back to Colorado to own and manage a ranch south of Pueblo and a cattle feed lot at Rocky Ford. For the last 25 years they made their home in Pueblo West. All places she enjoyed but `the little house on the prairie' at the ranch was most endearing to her. She worked for many years cleaning houses for people whose families and pets became dear friends. Sharon was born December 27, 1943 in La Junta, CO. Her childhood was a happy one, and many formed friendships became everlasting. It was the simple, beautiful things in life that touched her heart. Whether watching `star showers' with grandkids on a makeshift bed in the back of a pickup truck, going on drives through the mountains or prairies or sitting on her porch with Pikes Peak in view, she was content. She had a passion for reading, choosing books from her own extensive library to read a second time. Sharon never knew a stranger. She was always there to listen or to offer a helping hand. She will live forever in our hearts. A special service dedicated to her memory will take place in the summer of 2021.
